“Managing” Pain Vs. Healing Pain

Sean Hershey, LCSW | Gay Somatic Therapist NYC

Mindbody Medicine for Chronic Pain

Listen on Apple | Listen on Spotify

Before people discover TMS work, most have had a medical provider tell them some version of “we’ll just have to manage the pain.”

Managing is not the same as healing.

Now – doing mindbody work – you're in the middle of a complete mindset shift. And now…healing is possible. And now, “managing” symptoms means something totally different. You’re in a much better place now. Let’s explore it.

In this Episode:

🔹 How to think psychologically and emotionally. How to stop thinking physically.

🔹 An examination of what “managing” symptoms even means.

🔹 An invitation to “manage” your symptoms through a psychological and emotional lens, rather than through the physical lens.

This is a great talk, with some hopeful, uplifting success stories. Join us for some inspiration and for some good information.
